Brisco and O'Rourke's field GPS equipment relies on no less than five separate satellites to lock in the position on the grid of the Ontario Base Map.
Back in our offices, field GPS data is downloaded into cutting edge MicroSurvey CAD and Auto CAD software to create a completely digital map. This information is relayed to all government agencies and regional municipal governments concerned.

Exciting Port Alma Wind Energy Industry Project
The wind energy industry project in Port Alma includes 44 of the largest wind turbines ever assembled in the world. The towers will be fabricated in Denmark and shipped by freighter to a nearby port. Each 95 metre tower will be trucked to the site by 27 separate flatbeds. The turbine diameter will be an additional 95 metres from the central axle. When the top of a prop is at the apex of its path, it will be a full 45 stories in the air.
